    Tomorrowland 2018 dates & theme announced

    Following their 2017 ‘Amicorum Spectaculum’ spectacle, Tomorrowland will continue to push innovative boundaries in 2018 with their new magical theme: ‘The Story of Planaxis’.

    Party-goers are invited to “be part of this fascinating new adventure and discover a magnificent new world,” when Tomorrowland returns for two weekends in 2018 on July 20 – 22 and July 27 – 29. ‘The Story Of Planaxis’ will be a mind-blowing experience, capturing the hearts of music fans, with more details to be revealed in the coming months.

    The elite stage is considered by many to be today’s pinnacle of dance music, drawing the biggest and best crowds from all around the world.

    This year’s lineup was stacked with some of the world’s biggest Trance acts including Armin van Buuren, Aly & Fila, MaRLo, Paul van Dyk, M.I.K.E. Push, The Thrillseekers, Johan Gielen, Ferry Corsten, Cosmic Gate, and Mark Sherry, playing across many areas including the ASOT stage, Trance Energy, FSOE and many more.

     

    Tomorrowland 2018 is all set to be the an extravaganza of good times, gathering thousands of music fans from all across the globe, and no festival lover should miss out!

    Tomorrowland requires fans to pre-register before buying tickets. Pre-registration runs from January 9, 2018, with ticket sales starting from January 20, 2018.

    DJ Mag’s 2017 Top 100 DJs poll results are in

    Music fans from across the world were once again invited to vote for their beloved artists and the DJs that they think deserve their vote the most.

    Taking place at Amsterdam ArenA, DJ Mag’s 2017 Top 100 DJs poll award ceremony has served as one of ADE’s highlights and the results have finally landed!

    Ferry Corsten has been placed No. 90, Vini Vici makes a new entry at No. 72, ATB is ranked No. 54, followed by Aly & Fila at No. 53, Paul van Dyk at No. 51, Above & Beyond at No. 27, and Armin van Buuren is placed No. 3 this year, marking his 16th year in the Top 5. Martin Garrix was announced as the No. 1 DJ of 2017.

    Paul van Dyk’s new album scores No. 1 worldwide on iTunes Dance Album charts

    It’s been less than 24 hours since Paul van Dyk released his new album ‘From Then On’, but the reception has so far been overwhelming and this has translated to an incredible debut on iTunes Dance Album charts around the world!

    ‘From Then On’ has managed to score No. 1 on the iTunes Dance Album charts in the U.S, Germany, Mexico, Switzerland, New Zealand, Argentina, Chile, Czech Republic, Hungary, Netherlands, Barbados and Malta.

    It has also reached No. 2 in Spain, U.K, Slovakia, Canada, plus No. 4 in Turkey and Ireland, peaked at No. 5 in Australia and No. 7 in France, Denmark and Austria, spreading the much-loved Paul van Dyk sound even further.

    Above & Beyond announce expansive North American tour

    Above & Beyond have announced a North American run of their Common Ground tour, with 25 dates announced so far.

    The string of shows will kick off December 29 in Los Angeles and end March 18 in Charlotte, with shows also announced in Brooklyn, Toronto, Chicago, Detroit, San Francisco, Nashville, New Orleans, Atlanta, plus more.

    The much-anticipated tour is in support of their sixth-studio album Common Ground, set for release in January 2018.

    For almost two decades, Above & Beyond’s much-loved sound has moved literally millions of people, and will continue to do so with their forthcoming album. The new album will feature their No. 1 single ‘Tightrope’, with vocalist Marty Longstaff, and ‘My Own Hymn’, with Zoë Johnston.

    Armin van Buuren drops first lineup for ASOT 850 Utrecht, and it’s outrageously good

    Utrecht is currently preparing itself for the massive event that will take place on February 17 at the Jaarbeurs, and Armin van Buuren has just announced the first round of acts for the special night.

    Armin van Buuren began unveiling performers with Ruben de Ronde during the A State Of Trance ADE Special radio show and so far, we can look forward to performances by Armin van Buuren, Ben Nicky, Bryan Kearney, Davey Asprey, David Gravell, Ilan Bluestone, John O’Callaghan, Jorn van Deynhoven, Purple Haze and Scott Bond.

    The festival will feature several stages, and as usual, the main stage will be an immersive, mind-blowing visual and musical experience, with thousands of Trance music lovers gathered under one roof to celebrate 850 episodes of A State Of Trance.

    During today’s ASOT ADE Special, the music legend also announced the theme for the upcoming show: ‘Be In The Moment’.

     

    Armin explains that the new theme fits perfectly with what A State Of Trance is all about. “You want to be in that moment, sometimes life is nice or not so nice, and we escape together in this world called Trance,” he says.

    Armin van Buuren announces another ASOT 850 Festival destination & unveils 2018 theme

    The moment you have been all waiting for has finally arrived. At long last, we can announce the next destination of the A State Of Trance 850 World Tour.

    We all experienced some of the most unforgettable moments with the A State Of Trance events, and in 2018, Armin van Buuren will take the festival to several countries across the globe.

    The first country of the ASOT 850 World Tour is Poland, reaching Gliwice on May 30, 2018 to celebrate 850 episodes of Armin van Buuren’s much-loved radio show. Brace yourself, and prepare for the greatest night of your life!

    The celebration tour will kick off in the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht, Netherlands on February 17, with Armin van Buuren already announcing he’ll play an exclusive warm-up set in addition to his main stage performance. Also on the lineup is Bryan Kearney, Davey Asprey, Ilan Bluestone, John O’Callaghan, Scott Bond and many more – see the full phase 1 lineup here.
