Armin van Buuren to DJ at world’s first Zero Gravity party this week

Armin van Buuren, Steve Aoki and W&W set to perform.

Headlined by some of the biggest DJs in the world, a party will take place in zero gravity, and organisers have announced an official 4-hour livestream from the history-making event.

Armin van Buuren, Steve Aoki and W&W will perform in a special modified A310 aircraft, providing the soundtrack to one of the most unique party experiences ever conceived. Partygoers and DJs will float together in weightlessness, an experience usually reserved for astronauts.

“I’m super excited BigCityBeats invited me to this crazy event, partying high up in the sky in Zero Gravity,” Armin van Buuren said in a press statement.

Clubbers from around the world applied to a competition to gain a spot on board the aircraft. The applicants were from far and wide, with winners from Australia, Brazil, Germany, South Korea, the UK, USA and many more making up a total of 50 participants and competition winners together on board the flight.

The live broadcast will commence on February 7 12pm (CET) via World Club Dome’s Facebook page. Check out the epic trailer below.
