2015 is looking HUGE for trance events in Australia

Who’s ready for another thrilling year in Trance?

I think it’s safe to say that 2014 has been the best year for trance events across the country. The Australian trance scene is growing bigger and better every year. Not only do we know how to party, but know what music to party to!

For Australian trance music lovers, an exciting and promising summer unfolds. Above & Beyond will kick off the new year in Sydney for NYE at The Hordern Pavilion and Melbourne New Years Day at Sidney Myer Music Bowl. Second-release tickets are still available for the Melbourne show and can be secured through Ticketmaster.

It has been confirmed that 4 Strings will be hitting the decks at Room 680, Melbourne – January 2 for what will surely be one of the biggest 2015 club nights of the year. The trance act responsible for one of the biggest trance anthems ever, ‘Take Me Away’ will also appear in Adelaide on Christmas Eve at Arkaba Hotel.

We recently spoke with Genesis, the team behind the successful trance club night Voodoo, on what trance fans can expect in 2015:

“In 2015, you can expect even more of your favourite international artists, bigger production and larger shows courtesy of the Genesis Team! We are going to continue to strive to provide the highest quality electronic entertainment in the country, it is our goal to put Trance back on top as we campaign to become NSW’s Favourite club night in 2015!”

“Voodoo is getting a makeover as we speak and the international artist bookings are already streaming in for 2015. We will be offering other Electronic Genres in our newly renovated stages and plan to have all 3 levels and 5 diverse rooms open on Friday night’s at Voodoo in 2015!”

“Everyone can also expect their favourite label tours to be back too!”

In 2015, Armin van Buuren proudly presensts: ‘A State Of Trance Festival’. Divided over several continents at the most incredible locations, A State of Trance festival will deliver the unique ASOT vibe and electrifying atmosphere in its ultimate purest form.

“We’ll be taking this concept to the next level, with different festivals on different continents, during which the radio studio will get a more prominent place than ever.  We’re all looking for that special State and hope to reach that through different artists and music, for example by giving new talent a platform to perform.  The interaction with my fans is key to me, that’s why ‘Together in A State of Trance’ will be the new theme this year.” Armin van Buuren says.

Staying true to the roots of ASOT he’ll be kicking of this edition with a celebration weekend, ASOT style. The home of this celebration weekend will be Australia, during which an overwhelming selection of trance DJs will take the stage during a live recording of the 700th episode of A State Of Trance on February 7th in Sydney and appear in Melbourne February 6th. The official lineup will be announced soon!

And some exciting news for the true trance addict! Manuel Le Saux may be on his way back to our Aussie shores as part of the Extrema Episode 400 World Tour. Read more here.
