Godskitchen Melbourne Delivers

Godskitchen hit all the right notes in Melbourne recently

After months of hard work and high expectations, the global brand Godskitchen finally returned back to our shores, hitting Melbourne earlier this month, presented by Evolution Events and Finders Keepers Entertainment.

More than 5,000 party-goers made their way to Festival Hall in Melbourne, bursting with energy, sharing their love for the music, and coming together for the event of a lifetime.

We caught up with Jorn van Deynhoven right before his massive set in Melbourne, and he shared his thoughts of Australia’s scene:

“It’s my 4th time here in Australia and I’m always surprised to see how many people are getting into my music. It makes me really proud and it feels like we’re on the same level when it comes to good music. I love how open minded the Australian fans have been over the years. That’s definitely what I love.”

Jorn van Deynhoven shared the Melbourne stage with trance heroes, Jordan Suckley, Richard Durand, Solarstone, Giuseppe Ottaviani, and local acts, Digital Dreamerz and Sensualise.

Richard Durand, a favourite guest of past Godskitchen events, returned to our shores for something that was more than just an ordinary DJ set.

“It’s really great to be back. Especially as it’s been a while, always a top atmosphere!” Richard Durand stated in a recent interview.

Solarstone and Giuseppe Ottavaini made their grand debut in Melbourne as the live-on-stage concept, Pure NRG LIVE , electrifying the Melbourne crowd with their incredible set, something that fans will never forget. We greeted the duo backstage just seconds after their set, both smiling and excited as they came off stage. It was a special moment for the trance geniuses.

With relentless energy, Jordan Suckley brought the right vibe to the dancefloor, providing fans with nothing but pure trance and the perfect tunes.

What truly amazed us was the passion the Melbourne trance family had for their local heroes, Digital Dreamerz and Sensualise…listen to dD’s warm-up set here and check out the closing set from Sensualise here.

Will Godskitchen return in 2016? We sure hope so…
