Armin van Buuren‘s A State Of Trance radio show has come a long way since 2001.
Today, not only marks 900 episodes of Armin van Buuren’s beloved A State Of Trance radio show, the countdown to the big ASOT 1000 celebration has also commenced, with just 100 episodes away!
Through the years, A State of Trance has become a major platform. What started as an obsession for radio has turned into a weekly highlight for more than 40 million listeners, broadcasting to over 100 FM stations and fans from over 84 countries.
The ASOT milestones are also celebrated each year, with ASOT 900 kicking off today through a special live broadcast from Armin van Buuren’s radio studio in Amsterdam, and will be followed by more special radio episodes as part of the lead up to the massive sold-out ASOT 900 festival, in which 30,000 clubbers will descend upon the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht next month.
The live-streams of these milestone shows also have millions of viewers and a lot of interactions. This all together makes A State of Trance the biggest trance-community of the world!
ASOT 1000 is set for 2021, and although no event concepts have been revealed just yet, there’s no doubt it will be a mind-blowing experience.
