It’s been almost 20 years since Kevin & Perry Go Large hit cinemas.
The 2000 box office smash, ‘Kevin & Perry Go Large‘ was based on characters that Harry Enfield and Kathy Burke created on Enfield’s comedy series in the UK.
The much-loved film saw Kevin & Perry travel to Ibiza to not only try lose their virginity, but also try become superstar DJs like the character DJ Eyeball Paul, the film’s main antagonist, whose nickname derives from his practice of vodka eyeballing.
The film’s soundtrack featured some of the greatest anthems in Trance music including ‘Eyeball (Eyeball Paul’s Theme)’, produced under Matt Darey’s ‘Sunburst’ alias, ‘Ayla’, ‘Coming On Strong’, ‘Mysteryland’, ‘Luvstruck’, ‘Follow Me’ and many more.
One More Time and Ibiza Trance Event will honour the classic on Monday September 7, 2020, hosting a special club night at Amnesia Ibiza, the venue where the film’s iconic club scenes were shot.
The cult film will be screened on the night, followed by an old school rave, using the DJ that originally performed during the actual filming, Seb Fontaine, and the curator of the iconic soundtrack, Judge Jules, plus more.
