When Aussie producer Henry Dark started producing five years ago, he had no idea one of his future productions would wind up on Armin van Buuren’s ‘A State Of Trance’ compilation.
“This is definitely one of the greatest achievements of my life to this point. I’ve been listening to ASOT since my early days of high school and to have my first release on the 2016 compilation is unbelievable” Henry exclusively told The Trance Project.
Comprising no less than 39 gems as a set of awe-inspiring exclusives and well-known masterpieces alike, ‘A State Of Trance 2016′ spotlights magical creations including Henry Dark’s new single “Beirut”.
Henry commented on the inspiration behind his new single: “It would definitely have to the be the middle eastern vocal hook. I think once I heard it with the chords, it hit me that this track was a keeper. To me there’s nothing better than a really nice hook on some great pads.”
The Aussie talent also shared what music truly means to him: “To me music means euphoria. It gives you a feeling which you cant get from anything else. Whether I am in the mood to produce, I always listen to music of all genres everyday.”
A State of Trance 2016, mixed and compiled by no one less than Armin van Buuren is out on May 6 and you can pre-order your copy here.
