Asteria’s new single ‘Whaaat’ is an absolute beast of a tune which was recently released on Critical State, providing us with power, energy and a craving feeling for more!
‘Whaaat’ reached #11 on Beatport’s Trance top 100 releases and its epic remix from Indecent Noise has hit #34 on Beatport’s Psy-Trance top 100 chart today.
“I wanted the track to show a quirky side of me but also make people feel happy and bounce around, so the inspiration behind ‘Whaaat’ actually came from the Minions movie. I love to laugh and of course the minions have been very good at doing that for many people around the globe,” Asteria revealed to The Trance Project.
“I personally cannot thank all the artist who have played it during their sets, on their podcasts and radio shows enough for it.”
Asteria also told The Trance Project that without Trance, she wouldn’t be the person she is today, nor be surrounded by people who she considers to be an inspiration.
“To me it means family, love, respect and most of all unity. My mum always said to me that she can never picture me not being involved, loving and caring about trance and I agree with her, as this beautiful genre has brought so much happiness to my life.”
