“The inspiration behind ‘There Is Only You’ came to me at a time when I needed to hear a change in my sound and brand,” Marcus Santoro tells The Trance Project.

Whether it’s the atmospheric breakdown, or the beautiful energy this gem holds, Australia’s Marcus Santoro makes his mark on the Trance music world with ‘There Is Only You’.

Currently sitting at #8 on Beatport’s Trance chart and receiving three plays on Above & Beyond’s ‘Group Therapy’ radio show , ‘There Is Only You’ is simply a stunning piece of music, and the talented producer told The Trance Project that the record was inspired by multiple things happening in his life and soon turned to the incredible Trance sound to help overcome them.

“It is my first ever Trance release and I couldn’t be more proud of it,” he said.

“My sound has always been and always will be melodic. I absolutely love strong chord progressions and beautiful atmospheres and working with super clean and organic sounds. I also love a good groove and energetic approach to my music. As a genre, my sound is a mix between Progressive House and Trance and I love the idea of being able to fuse the two together and create records that people can enjoy.”

Growing up with Trance, it was the genre that kick-started his passion for music.

“It was only until a couple of months ago where I realised maybe I was meant to be working on music that spoke to me on such a unique and emotional level. The feeling I get when I’m in the studio working on a Trance record compared to my other styles is somewhat perpetual, it never ends and I’m always inspired.”
