BREAKING: Jorn van Deynhoven announces he’s retiring from producing

Thank you for your amazing productions throughout the years, Jorn van Deynhoven!

He’s left his mark on the Trance music scene, moved ten-thousands, if not millions of Trance fans with his incredible productions and remixes.

With what will be a shock to every Trance music fan, Jorn van Deynhoven has just announced his retirement from producing music.

“After 25 wonderful years in this wonderful music scene, I have come to the decision to say “goodbye” to the trance scene as a producer & remixer. The reasoning behind this is, that “for me” my story has been told with all my productions to this date and therefore my story has come to an end. I want to musically realign and only work as co-producer and manager in the background. Just like I did before “Jorn van Deynhoven,” the Trance legend revealed in an extensive statement on social media.

Jorn van Deynhoven emerged as one of the hottest names in Trance society throughout the years, delivering top-notch tunes to please the crowds across the globe and has produced mind-blowing remixes for some of the biggest acts in the scene including The Space Brothers, Mark Sixma, RAM and Armin van Buuren.

Back in July 2018, the Trance music world was rocked as it was reported that the ‘New Horizons’ and ‘We Can Fly’ hit-maker had to take a break from touring to focus on his health after an emergency surgery. He spent many months recovering from a lengthy 12-hour emergency surgery when his aorta ripped.

A year after, he finally returned to the stage, performing at Electronic Family in July 2019 and wowed the amassed crowd.

Soon after, he unveiled his artist album, ‘The Future Is Now’, symbolising a second chance in life and what it took to get to the point of re-embracing this part of his life.

Jorn van Deynhoven is now ready to completely close this chapter of his life and will soon drop his final ever single ‘Viva La Vida’, which is taken from his artist album.

He will continue to hit the road and still DJ across the globe for the next 3 years or so.

“In the next about 3 years, I am looking forward to be performing for you. Within the next 2 years or whenever it will be possible to perform in a safe environment again, I will fulfill existing performance commitments with promoters worldwide, which had to move and reschedule all their events due to the ongoing pandemic. The third and for me last year I will be going on a final goodbye tour and play the best β€œJorn van Deynhoven” Showcase for you. I have more than 100 productions, which allow me to guarantee you an unforgettable night,” Jorn van Deynhoven says.

“Thank you to β€œeach and everyone” of my followers, fans & freaks, that have been supporting my music. You guys were and are simply amazing!”
