No doubt the cause of heated arguments between mates and dance music lovers, the No. 1 DJ in the world has been unveiled.

Dance music fans across the world were once again invited to vote for their beloved artists and the DJs that they think deserve their vote the most.

Armin van Buuren reached No. 3 this year, marking his 21st consecutive ranking in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll.

“Wow, thank you all so much… I really can’t describe how grateful I am to again be among the top 5 best DJs in the world. And #3 again! The past year and a half have been a challenge for everyone, but since I was able to still connect with my fans around the world via A State Of Trance radio show and release my music it became a lot easier. This past time has proven how strong the A State Of Trance family and bond of all dance music lovers really is and that music conquers all. I have loved working on many different songs with many different artists and I hope you loved listening to the tracks. We didn’t celebrate ASOT 1000 together yet but we will soon. Hopefully we can see each other soon on the dance floor but for now thank you so much for voting and take care! And huge congrats to David Guetta and Martin Garrix, number 1 and 2!” Armin van Buuren said.

Aussie Trance King MaRLo placed No. 88 this year, Vini Vici hit No. 20, Above & Beyond at No. 21, ATB placed No. 35, Paul van Dyk at No. 45, Ferry Corsten at No. 57, Christina Novelli at No. 91 and Blastoyz at No. 94!
