Originally scheduled for May 2020 and then pushed to October 2020, EDC Las Vegas is now being moved again.
Organisers of EDC Las Vegas, where thousands of festival goers from more than a hundred different countries unite, have postponed this year’s massive edition at Las Vegas Motor Speedway from October 2 – 4, 2020 to May 21 – 23, 2021!
“The team & I have spent the last several months working to create a plan that would allow us to produce a safe event for you,” Insomniac founder and CEO Pasquale Rotella announced on Instagram today.
“We wanted to implement a free two-step testing program, one test at home before traveling to Las Vegas & another test at the venue when you arrived, in addition to many other enhanced safety protocols. Unfortunately, we just learned that the medical advances necessary to pull this off will not be ready in time, which is why I’m making this announcement today.”
Surrounded with carnival rides, art installations, performers, dancers, and the most stunning decor, revellers were set to party with the biggest names in electronic dance and Trance music including Aly & Fila, Key4050, Giuseppe Ottaviani Live 3.0, Andrew Rayel, Gouryella 2.0, Grum, Abraxis, ilan Bluestone, Kai Tracid, NWYR, Ben Nicky pres. Xtreme, Arty, Jason Ross, Vini Vici and Andrew Bayer.
The Trance-heavy lineup that was scheduled for this year also featured Paul van Dyk, Billy Gillies, Ahmed Romel, Cosmic Gate, Pierre Pienaar, Alessandra Roncone, Pathfinders and Markus Schulz.
