John O’Callaghan returns to Subculture under his ‘Joint Operations Centre’ alias

John O’Callaghan makes a welcome return to Subculture under his Joint Operations Centre alias with two prime cuts of sonic sorcery in the form of ‘Dexathol’ and ‘Plexatron’.

‘Dexathol’ is trademark Joint Operations Centre at his dark and twisted best.

Fierce kick drums and pounding rhythms give way to a speaker-rattling bassline.

The perfect fusion of the influence of the past mixed with the futuristic production prowess that John O’Callaghan is renowned for.

On the flip, ‘Plexatron’ is centred around an infectious drum groove delicately intertwined with an edgy vocal loop, chopped and spliced throughout the mix.

Two tracks that perfectly encapsulate the unmistakeable sound of Joint Operations Centre – a highly recommended EP.
