“After my set, i got tears in my eyes,” Jorn van Deynhoven on his stage comeback.
Jorn van Deynhoven returned to the stage for the first time in a year at Electronic Family music festival and wowed the amassed crowd with an astounding set packed with Trance gems.
After a health setback a year ago, the Trance hero is finally back and better than ever! Jorn van Deynhoven spent many months recovering from a lengthy 12-hour emergency surgery when his aorta ripped in July last year.
“I spent my time in a hospital and fighted for my life,” the ‘New Horizons’ hitmaker recently shared to fans on his Facebook page.
“I learned to walk, to speak and my mind was full of afraidness. Today, one year later, everything is sorted and under control. Till the rest of my life my voice will be flat because of a vocal cord paralysis. Sometimes i have neurological failures because of the long surgeries. But hey, i am alive!” he says.
Jorn van Deynhoven brought all the energy, melodic power and drive needed to make a memorable comeback, and he truly captured the hearts of fans during his set on the Who’s Afraid Of 138?! stage at Electronic Family, one the world’s biggest Trance festivals.
It was nothing short of breathtaking, and when he finished the set, Jorn van Deynhoven broke down in tears of joy, showing how grateful he is to not only still be alive, but to also be able to perform again.
It’s great to have you back legend!
