A new Aussie trance record label has landed and we’ve got the exclusive details

Australia is entering the second half of 2016 rich in musical possibility, with Digital Dreamerz launching their new record label ‘Psychodynamic Recordings’.

Aussie trance duo Digital Dreamerz are expanding beyond their production talents and are diving into the business end of the industry.

The Trance Project is exclusively revealing details of their new record label, Psychodynamic Recordings.

“We have seen the Australian Trance scene grow so much over the last few years and it has been a great thing to be a part of. With that has come so many impressive / talented local & international up and coming producers that we think have a bright future ahead and we wanted to create a platform to support and share their music with the rest of the world,” they told The Trance Project.

Being artists themselves, the talented duo understand how hard it can be to make a break through in this industry and want to bring things back to basics to support and push those artists who are making music from the heart and expressing themselves 100% as opposed to feeling restricted and having to follow “trends” to get recognition!

With regards to building the label’s sound, they say they don’t want to “limit creativity or define their sound by a BPM.” The core of trance still has to be there and that is all about the melody, energy and drawing out pure emotion through the music.

“The best advice we could give is just keep the core of your productions true to the Trance genre and what it is really about! We don’t care if it’s progressive, uplifting or techy, as long as the quality and the core is there we want to listen,” Digital Dreamerz revealed.

“The other thing we would say to all the Trance fans, promoters and producers – get around your locals and eachother! We have so many brilliant up and coming producers that we truly believe have the potential to really go places and chase their dreams! For the artists who are genuine and putting in the time and hard work, give them your support and encouragement because a little can go a long way!”
