Paul van Dyk ‘fully conscious’ after plunging to the ground during ASOT Festival Utrecht

“We have very good news to report as Paul is fully conscious and now under normal care,” Paul van Dyk’s management said via Facebook today.

During his performance at A State Of Trance Festival in Utrecht, Netherlands, Paul van Dyk lost his balance after walking in front of the DJ decks in an attempt to get closer to the audience, sustaining a concussion and cracked vertebrae.

“Though he must remain under hospital care while his condition improves, we expect Paul to recover fully from his injuries,” the Facebook statement continues.

“PvD deeply appreciates your support and looks forward to touring again as soon as possible.”

The king of ASOT, Armin van Buuren also took to Facebook to share his relief on Paul’s condition.

“Glad to share the news that Paul van Dyk is doing better. Hope you will recover to full health really soon Paul!”
