“I wanted to make something that really pushed my boundaries and something I could have fun with in the studio,” Paul Covi on his new track ‘Alive’.
Inspired by the sounds of MaRLo, Mark Sixma, Ben Nicky, Gareth Emery, Orjan Nilsen, Armin van Buuren and Above & Beyond, Sydney-based artist Paul Covi has made his epic new track, ‘Alive’, available to download free on Soundcloud for fans across the globe.
“It originally started out as a remix for a Morgan Page track which was quite progressive sounding. I decided to get rid of the vocals and turn it in to an original. Fast forward 4 weeks and it sounds nothing like it used to!” Paul Covi exclusively told The Trance Project.
The young talent first started to produce 7 years ago and told The Trance Project that he “experimented with a few different genre’s, but it wasn’t until about 2 years ago he decided to go back to his roots and focus purely on trance.”
“Trance to me is about the emotion through music on a personal level. It has the ability to connect with people on a level unlike any other genre & that’s what excites me the most!”
With his melodic driven sound and strong passion for music, Paul Covi is ready for the future!
