Subculture to deliver a truly captivating stage design & world-class production

Expect a set up that makes the crowd feel included and part of the story line.

“We are excited to create an immersive experience for trance lovers at Subculture,” Evolution Events on the return of Subculture to Melbourne’s Hisense Arena on Saturday 29th April.

With so much emphasis on experience, Subculture will deliver a spectacular light show with an abundance of lasers, pyrotechnics and other high-end production elements sure to pump you full of adrenaline, crafted up by none other than Tan Huynh from Synergy Events. Tan has worked with Evolution Events for many years, managing production for events such as Godskitchen and Transmission.

Renowned for epic stage concepts and having designed large scale event stages, Richard De Souza from MNVR will be in charge of visuals and stage design for Subculture this year, bringing another colossal creation to Melbourne.

This year’s edition will transport its revellers to a world of wonder and imagination. It will be the most amazing visual experience ever witnessed.

“Evolution loves games with in depth story lines – those that has created worlds that are far from our reality. The inspiration for our stage encompasses Starcraft and Halo. It will be a sequel to the 2015 design, this time depicting a relic in a futuristic temple,” organisers say.

Jam-packed with a jaw-dropping line up of international Trance acts including John O’Callaghan, Bryan Kearney, Giuseppe Ottaviani LIVE 2.0, Grum, Jordan Suckley, The Noble Six and Will Atkinson, Subculture Melbourne has got to be one of the most highly anticipated events yet.

“The music has always been the most important aspect, though the planning and conceptualising of the event is an art form in itself. When there is perfect synchronisation between the visuals, the music and the artist, you can expect an experience like no other. This is why we’ve engaged Richard De Souza,” Evolution Events told The Trance Project.

“Subculture is our baby, from its earliest years doing rounds at clubs, we were able to bring it to a sold out show at Hisense Arena. This is why we put an unimaginable focus on the event to make sure every aspect is different. Our artwork over the next few months is a taste of what uniqueness we’ll bring to the tour.”

If heavy beats, killer basslines, euphoric melodies and breathtaking production are the things that get you going, this is one event you don’t want to miss.
