1 year ago today incredible memories were made at FSOE400 Melbourne

Take me back!

Aly & Fila’s FSOE400 tour reached Melbourne (a fitting location) on 8th August, 2015, and boy was it epic! People from all across Australia joined forces and partied like never before.

Joined by Trance Family Australia’s Little Johnny, we entered the venue just as Ahmed Romel finished his set, setting the perfect tone for the night with his amazing opener.

Bjorn Akkeson and Mohamed Ragab provided us with the perfect tunes, rocking the Aussie crowd when they opened up with Coming Soon’s “Keeping The Faith” with Michele Adamson!

Throughout their set we bumped into the king of TMAS, Lorin, trance fan Musty, vocalist Alana Aldea, Trancegression’s James, Pinkque, Darren Porter, and Trance Familia’s Justin – a group of incredible people who were just as excited as we were to be witnessing this once in a lifetime happening.

It’s amazing to see how a genre unites people the way trance does.

The festivities continued with Egyptian heroes, Fady & Mina – the mood was energetic – 55 minutes of mind-blowing music, we only wish it was longer

We all knew Ferry Tayle’s set would be mind-blowing. It was evident from the very start, when he opened with Indecent Noise’ remix of Cosmic Gate’s anthem “Fire Wire”, followed by Driftmoon’s ‘Waves’  and the classic “Lucid” by Phynn! Ferry also showed his support for Sydney locals, Delage & Tonto, when he played their incredible remix of “Airwave” by Rank 1. Without a doubt the highlight of his set was the moment he dropped “Nubia Is Good For Me (Ferry Tayle Mashup)” – Aly & Fila With Ferry Tayle vs. Above & Beyond feat. Zoë Johnston…a moment we’ll never forget.

ReOrder & Standerwick’s mighty ‘SkyPatrol’ collaboration was a set to remember, and a hit with trance fans, as they celebrated the 400th episode of FSOE. It was throughout this set when I saw Australia’s trance queen Jano, looking down at both the crowd and breathtaking production in absolute awe, her eyes were shining with excitement, and you could tell how proud she was feeling at that moment to be part of FSOE 400.

We continued the FSOE journey with Fadi hitting the decks, opening his set with “Science Fiction” – Liquid Soul & Zyce feat. Solar Kid, followed by Jorn van Deynhoven’s remix of Aly & Fila’s very own “Still”, providing us with a superb set that didn’t only move the trance addicts in Melbourne, but also shook the online community, tuning in live to the audio stream.

When Fadi is onstage, every moment is magnificent.

The crowd’s reaction to “On Fire” was amazing to watch as thousands of FSOE fans sung aloud the lyrics to Luke Bond & Roxanne Emery’s vocal masterpiece. Fadi continued to provide the perfect tunes, “Love Of My Control” – Sneijder & Christina Novelli and dropped the spirited and emotional track “Napoleon” featuring melodic mastermind Ferry Tayle.

Uplifting themes were carried throughout the event when Fadi invited trance fan Joanne Anissa to the stage, thanking her for everything she has achieved for both Aly & Fila and the FSOE brand, and handed over a special FSOE 400 artwork signed by all the artists – Australia is proud of you Joanne!

Photographer also made this a night to never forget, closing the FSOE 400 stage with outstanding beats and melodies.

Leaving the Aussie crowd completely satisfied, I think it’s fair to say that FSOE 400 could well be the greatest trance event to hit Australia ever. And as always, we were moved by the love and passion of Melbourne’s trance family.
