Above & Beyond tease return of their Acoustic concept

It’s happening again…

It looks like Above & Beyond are going acoustic – again.

Today, Above & Beyond have posted a teaser on their social media platforms that appears to hint at a possible ‘Acoustic III’ album and tour.

The caption on their tweet simply reads, “#ABAcoustic”, followed by another tweet from group member Tony McGuinness that reads, “It’s happening again…”.

Described by Billboard Magazine as “one of the finest and more memorable shows in EDM history,” Above & Beyond’s Acoustic concept revisits several of the best loved songs from their artist albums, as well as classics from their wide back catalogue, and reworks them as rich orchestral acoustic arrangements.

Above & Beyond’s live acoustic performances began in 2013 with a short run of shows at London’s Porchester Hall and two sold out nights at LA’s Greek Theatre. The response from fans was so overwhelming, in 2016 they took an 18-piece band set up on a sold out tour of the world’s most iconic concert halls including London’s Royal Albert Hall, Sydney Opera House and Hollywood Bowl to name just three.

For their Acoustic III concept, Above & Beyond will most likely revisit songs from their 2018 artist album, ‘Common Ground’ and will once again be a breathtaking experience.
