Carl Cox is the first keynote speaker for the 2015 edition of Asia-Pacific’s leading electronic music industry two-day event.
The Electronic Music Conference (EMC), Asia-Pacific’s leading electronic music industry event, will take place on Tuesday December 1 and Wednesday December 2, 2015 throughout the Ivy complex.
The two days will be filled with EMC keynotes, masterclasses, panels, networking events and parties, bringing together aspiring DJs, producers, international bookings agents, promoters, A&Rs, and other big players in the electronic dance music industry.
Today, EMC has announced house and techno music pioneer Carl Cox as the first keynote speaker. Previous editions of the conference have seen various trance artists involved in the panel discussions and masterclasses, from trance legend Armin van Buuren to Giuseppe Ottaviani, Solarstone, Bryan Kearney and Australia’s #1 trance DJ, MaRLo.
For the first time, EMC will be offering tiered delegate pass options, with the introduction of EMC Pro and EMC Academy passes. EMC Pro passes start from $199 and The new EMC Academy pass starts from $199.
“EMC is more than an industry conference,” said founder Neil Ackland, “it’s also a forum for new and emerging artists and industry members to make connections and gain valuable insights into the electronic music industry. We anticipate that the EMC Academy ticket will make the conference more accessible to these people and help grow our industry here in Australia.”
EMC is on sale today via Eventbrite, with a special offer of 50 advance early bird EMC Pro passes available for just $199 until July 6 or until sold out.
