EMC 2015 second speaker lineup announced

EMC is delighted to announce the second round of speakers.

Each year, Asia-Pacific’s Electronic Music Conference (EMC) brings together legendary artists and industry professionals for a two-day gathering of music industry discussion panels, seminars, workshops and a week-long string of parties. The conference, which is set to be held at The Ivy on December 1-2, 2015, has grown to become the ultimate industry event that has created a platform for both artists and industry professionals to advance the electronic dance music industry, covering the interests and needs of artists, managers, labels, radio stations, publishers, agents, and promoters.

Joining already announced speakers Carl Cox, Gilles Peterson and Ta-ku, is multi-platinum selling artist Timmy Trumpet, breakthrough 19-year-old Australian rapper Tkay Maidza, YouTube sensations Mashd N Kutcher, rising stars Slumberjack, Melbourne Producer/DJ Benson, ‘r u a cop’ producers The Meeting Tree, electro-pop breakout artist Michelle Xen, plus many more game-changers and decision-makers in the electronic music industry.

Previous editions of the conference have seen various trance artists involved in the panel discussions and masterclasses, from trance legend Armin van Buuren to Solarstone, Aly & Fila, Bryan Kearney and Australia’s #1 trance DJ, MaRLo.

And that’s not all, this year’s speaker lineup also includes industry heavyweights: Jeff Drake (Head of A&R, Ministry of Sound AUST), Ben Dennis (Manager, Peking Duk, Benson, Myriad Management AUST), Katie Cunningham (Editor, inthemix AUST), Matt Stafford (Manager, Timmy Trumpet / Artist USA), Monique Rothstein (Director, Positive Feedback AUST), Trent Grimes (General Manager of Touring, Ministry of Sound AUST), Jess Beston (Director, Tiny Monster AUST), plus many more yet to be announced.

“EMC offers unmatched networking opportunities for both aspiring and established industry members,” said EMC founder Neil Ackland. “In addition to career-building and agenda setting conference programming, EMC is the only time you’ll find Asia-Pacific’s biggest electronic players all in the one place, making it an essential event on the electronic music industry calendar.”

For the first time, EMC will be offering tiered delegate pass options, with the introduction of EMC Pro and EMC Academy passes.

EMC is making the event more accessible to aspiring artists, managers, promoters and others wanting to break into the industry with the EMC Academy pass which offers buyers access to just the JMC Masterclass Theatre at a reduced rate compared to the EMC Pro pass which gives buyers full access to all EMC keynotes, masterclasses, panels, networking events and parties.
