Genix & Ian Kerr set Guinness World Record for highest DJ set

It’s finally official!

Anjunabeats hotshot Damion Houchen aka Genix and Ian Kerr have earned a place in the Guinness World Records for performing the highest altitude DJ set on land.

Genix and Ian Kerr performed the record smashing back-to-back set on Mount Everest region, Nepal, on 3 April 2019. The attempt took place near the summit of Kala Pattar to a crowd of 20 paying individuals, 5,593 metres high!

“Thank you to everyone that helped us achieve this! From the Sherpas helping with the equipment, Saligram Aryal and all of our friends that came along. We did it,” Genix tweeted on their tremendous achievement.
