EXCLUSIVE: New Aussie promoter talks new Trance club night in Sydney

With Sydney’s scene aching for a new Trance destination, a new Aussie promoter has stepped forth, launching their thrilling new ‘Breakthrough‘ club night concept on Friday March 8 at Goodbar, Oxford St, and tickets are on sale now!

With Trance enthusiasts Joey Sammak and Davor Koneski at the helm of the new ‘Breakthrough‘ Trance venture, Sydney can expect a fresh new approach to the Trance clubbing experience.

Breakthrough Events will transform Goodbar into a true Trance paradise, uniting Sydney’s Trance family for a night of mind-blowing sets, banging basslines and incredible vibes. The exciting concept will look to bring people together who all share a like-minded ethos to Trance music and the incredible culture that surrounds it.

“We are giving the Sydney crowd what they truly want and what they have been waiting for. An energy like no other, with sub-genres ranging from pumping Tech-Trance, that has been taking the trance world by storm, to hard-hitting Psy, Uplifting, and of course, Classic and Hard Trance,” organisers revealed to Trance Project in an exclusive interview.

The first event on March 8 will be headlined by Sydney rising act Davor, along with Klaus Kaz, Liam Bajic, Ryan McGuckin, Lakov and Saber! Exhibiting a top level standard of quality Aussie acts all across the board, the launch of Breakthrough is the place you need to be!

What will the Breakthrough experience be like?

One of a kind, full of energy and a night to remember! Breakthrough is helmed by Joey Sammak and Davor Koneski, two Sydney trance heads that have a true passion for the genre and the scene. Breakthrough is going to be one for the books, featuring crazy local and international talent at upcoming events, along with stellar production. It is definitely something that Sydney has been waiting for a very long time.

Where will the first event be held and what is the venue like?

The first event will be held at Goodbar on 8th March, 2019. The venue has incredible sound and we have an absolutely jaw-dropping production planned for this night. Stay tuned!

Will there be a focus on local Trance DJs throughout your events this year?

We are shining the spotlight on our talented local Trance DJs in 2019. With some crazy local talent lined up for our first Breakthrough including up-and-coming tech-trance DJ Davor, host of The Power Hour radio show producer, Liam Bajic, plus much more. What are you most excited about the launch of Breakthrough?

Reigniting the local trance scene in Sydney once again, Witnessing all of our Sydney trance-goers smash the dance floor and bringing a new energy to 2019 like no other! We are ready to put our stamp in the Australian trance scene for many years to come.

What sub-genres of Trance can punters expect to hear?

We are giving the Sydney crowd what they truly want and what they have been waiting for.
