RAM tells the next story of his Grotesque adventure.
RAM, the producer behind highlights like ‘RAMelia’ and ‘Someone Like You’ has exclusively revealed to The Trance Project about two new sub-labels added to his record label, Grotesque.
Grotesque has accumulated multiple hits and has now developed two new sub-labels, ‘Grotesque Reworked’ and ‘Grotesque Fusion’.
“I want to expand the brand of Grotesque and the sound we love,” RAM tells The Trance Project.
While the main Grotesque label is more focused on vocal trance and uplifting, Grotesque Reworked will only include classics reworked into the modern day sound.
Depending on the producer, the remixes can range from progressive to 140bpm bangers and will feature artists including LTN, David Gravell, John Askew, Darren Porter and Indecent Noise.
“Grotesque Fusion will be more harder-edged uplifting, tech, psy, dark trance or a combination of that,” RAM says.
The Trance legend has also some advice for producers who are keen to submit their music on all Grotesque labels. “Just be yourself and don’t copy.”
“Create your own style. We like it when people are different and have balls to do something else other than the usual arrangements & sounds. Of course, sound quality is a must for the label, so pay good attention, as it’s just as important as the whole track itself.”
Grotesque Reworked will kick off with UCast’s tremendous remix of ‘Endless Wave’ – Kamaya Painters – available now on Beatport here. Future releases also include: Ralph B – ‘Massive (LTN & Daniel Skyver remix)’ and Marc Simz – ‘Forbidden City (David Gravell remix)’.
For Grotesque Fusion, Allan Morrow will release ‘Out Of Reach’ and future releases include: Stephen Kirkwood & 2ndPhase – ‘Steal this Track’ (plus Cold Blue remix) and Allan Watts – ‘Square One’.
With 3 labels, different compilation series, 80 worldwide ambassadors, a radio show with listeners from over 20 countries, it’s an exciting time for Grotesque.
Fans can also soon expect Grotesque label nights & Grotesque Dutch nights worldwide.
