TomorrowWorld 2016 cancelled due to its “current environment”
“Itβs with a heavy heart that we inform you, TomorrowWorld will not take place in 2016. Unfortunately in the current environment , it is not possible to give you the best and unique experience you deserve,” TomorrowWorld organisers have stated on their website and social media.
In 2015, continuous rainfall kept numerous festival goers from accessing the TomorrowWorld festival grounds atΒ Chattahoochee Hills, just outside Atlanta, Georgia (USA), leavingΒ thousands of punters stranded without transportation. After last year’s fiasco and current financial issues with parent company, SFX Entertainment, who filed for bankruptcy in February, the festival will not return this year.
“Letβs lock and cherish all the magnificent memories in our hearts, this is not farewell⦔ TomorrowWorld organisers on the future of the festival in the US.
“We will miss seeing each other in September and experiencing the magic of TomorrowWorld as one. You, the People of Tomorrow, the foundation of TomorrowWorld, are our inspiration.”
Tomorrowland’s event in Belgium and Brasil will continue running as normal.
