ASOT 1000 finally lands next week!
On Thursday January 21, 2021, Armin van Buuren and Ruben de Ronde will host a very special extended episode of A State Of Trance to celebrate the 1000th show, filled with many surprises.
The special broadcast will start three hours earlier than normal – at 5PM (CET) instead of 8PM (CET) – and Armin van Buuren will finally reveal full details of the ASOT 1000 celebration tour.
A State Of Trance radio show has come a long way since 2001. What started as an obsession for radio has turned into a weekly highlight for more than 40 million listeners, broadcasting to over 100 FM stations and fans from over 84 countries.
The ASOT milestones are also celebrated each year, and although plans for a festival-style show early in 2021 have been changed due to the global pandemic, there will be news concerning the upcoming ASOT 1000 festival during next week’s milestone episode.
The final top 50 tracks of the ASOT Top 1000 list will also be unveiled during the 1000th episode. Fans reflected upon the past 20 years of the beloved radio show and voted for their favourite ASOT plays of all time.
The full ASOT Top 1000 results will be unleashed during a seven-day-long stream, kicking off on Thursday January 14 from 10PM (CET) via YouTube and Twitch.
