Event organisers across the world have been cancelling or postponing large gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and now A State Of Trance have announced the cancellation of their much-anticipated London festival.
Today, A State Of Trance announced the cancellation of ASOT 950 London that was slated to take place this August at South West Four 2020.
“It is with a very heavy heart that we must sadly announce that A State of Trance 950 in London will no longer be taking place on Friday 28th August,” organisers revealed throughout social media.
“We are all truly gutted that we have had to take this decision, which has not been taken lightly. We have been closely monitoring the situation alongside the local authorities for some weeks and it is now clear to all involved that it is just not possible for any version of this year’s festival to take place in a safe way. Safety has been the number one priority when considering this course of action. So for now, please look after yourself, your loved ones and one another, and we look forward to dancing with you all again very soon.”
Performers at the enormous festival were to include Andrew Rayel, Ben Gold, Bryan Kearney, Davey Asprey, Ferry Corsten, Gareth Emery, Giuseppe Ottaviani, John O’Callaghan, Kyau & Albert, Solarstone, Ruben de Ronde b2b Rodg pres. Togetherr, Vini Vici and of course, the ASOT king himself, Armin van Buuren.
All tickets purchased for this year’s edition will be refunded. Ticket holders will receive an update soon via email from ticket agents with more specific information.
