The past few years have seen Aussie trance legend MaRLo spread his wings.
In addition to releasing mind-blowing productions, the Aussie legend constantly sells out gigs around the country, tours extensively across the globe, and is a regular on the ASOT stage.
MaRLo recently dropped a preview of ‘Titans’, the official anthem for Atlantis 2016. Out on 4th March, ‘Titans’ is an absolute beast of a tune, comprised of anthemic energy destined for huge venues across the globe. The track will debut on this week’s episode of ASOT – listen to the preview here.
The Trance Project caught up with the trance powerhouse to ask about his upcoming gig at Atlantis 2016.

No stranger to Atlantis, we’re thrilled to have you back at this year’s edition! What are you most excited about touring with Atlantis next month?
Well, I’ve been told this year is going to be even bigger than last year so I’m looking forward to playing! I’m really keen to see all the extra production and I’m super excited to see Gouryella perform for the first time too.
Can you share some of your greatest memories from Atlantis last year?
Playing my own Anthem song and seeing the incredible reaction it got.
What is it like when you look out at the crowd at that sea of people and everyone is pulsing to the music that you are playing?
It’s awesome!
You have produced another monstrous official anthem for Atlantis titled “Titans”. Where did you find inspiration to create an absolute beast of a tune?
I wanted to put some of the old Hard Trance and Tech-Trance elements of yester-year into a modern sounding production.
You will be sharing the stage with some of the biggest names in the scene including Ferry Corsten who will be performing under his ‘Gouryella’ alias for first time ever. Are you a Gouryella fan?
Of course! Loved all the old classics like ‘Tenshi’ and ‘Ligaya’.
What can fans expect from your upcoming sets? Will you be playing any new material?
Yes quite a lot actually. I’ve been crazy busy in the studio the last few weeks.
What has been the most life-changing moment in your career to this day?
Just seeing my own music get more and more support. It’s not one moment that changed my career – It’s been a gradual slope 🙂
If you could look into the future… How do you see Australia’s trance scene continuing to evolve over the next decade and beyond?
Australia has a really strong Trance scene at the moment with a lot of talented upcoming producers and DJ’s so I can only see it growing even more!
Do you have any last words to all your Aussie fans?
Much love to you all!! See you at Atlantis.
